Scenic North Alabama Motorcycle Route - Sand Mountain

This scenic route begins in downtown Stevenson at the historic depot on Main Street. Bear right onto State Hwy 117 and continue across the Tennessee River bridge. After crossing the bridge turn left onto Co. Rd 91. Turn right onto Co. Rd. 93 and go to AL State Hwy 73/71. Bear right through Bryant and Higdon, AL and continue on State Hwy 71 to Flat Rock. Turn right on AL State Hwy 117 and travel down the mountain and across the Tennessee River bridge back into Stevenson. End your journey at Ft. Harker, one of the last redoubt Civil War forts remaining in America.
