Here is what is happening in October...
Throughout this month we will be offering our Cullman Grown Drive-Thru Market. Ordering will be open every Monday at 12:00 pm, and close Tuesday at 12:00 pm, with pick-ups on Wednesday from 12:00 - 2:00 pm. We are excited to be offering all sorts of locally grown produce! Saturday, October 3rd, 8-12:00 pm POP @ Festhalle Farmers Market. Bring your children up to age 12 to receive FREE POP Bucks to spend at the farmers market!
Friday, October 9th, 10-11:00 am Little Farmers presents 'The Big Red Barn'. Your smallest farmer will have so much fun reading the classic book 'The Big Red Barn' and doing some fun activities. Sponsored by Alabama Farm Credit.
Tuesday, October 13th, 6-8:00 pm. Our Heritage Skills class will cover 'Cooking with Whole Foods'. Join Chef Braxton at the Agriplex as he demonstrates simple cooking techniques to make a healthy meal using in-season ingredients! Demonstration, tasting, and recipes all included. Sponsored by the Lions Club & Traditions Bank.
Thursday, October 15th 6:-7:00 pm Learn to Sew Series Binding & Bias Tape. This class will cover making and using binding and bias tape.
Friday, October 23rd, 9-11:00 am. Heritage Homeschool presents 'Bugs & Slugs'. For some, there is nothing scarier than spiders and other creepy-crawly bugs! This hands-on learning program will give students the chance to examine insects and other arthropods up-close and personal. Sponsored by Tyson Blending.
