We have a few free, virtual options coming up:
Little Farmers, Eating a Rainbow, Get a Free Kit, and Build Your Own Rainbow to eat... Friday, August 14, 10:00 am, Register and pick up a free kit at Extension, before Friday. Kits include a cool rainbow skewer, puzzle, recipes, and more! For preschoolers and early elementary
Lunch and Learn- Free Zoom Class: Growing Succulents: August 19 at noon; Author, Master Gardener, and Succulent Expert will tour us around her beautiful garden and show us the basics of succulents. You don't want to miss this!! We will give a free succulent dish garden to one of our participants.
Our Brewing Class has been postponed until 2021. Our other public programs including Heritage Homeschool and Farm Kids Club will start back in September.
Right now the Agriplex staff is continuing to pack boxes for our USDA Farmers to Families box grant. This will end on August 31.
We will restart the DriveUp Virtual Farmers Market on September 23 being the first pickup date. Check out www.agriplex.org for more info.
HARVEST TO HOME FUNDRAISER: Online Silent Auction starting Sept 4-13. Instead of a dinner, we will sell Locally Grown Food prep boxes complete with a menu and recipes from Farm to Table Chef Braxton Taylor of Dreher's. These will come on sale for $50 per box which serves two on September 4 with pickup on September 17. Check out www.agriplex.org for more info.
