    Athens, Alabama : October 23-24, 2020

Imagination will play a big role in this year’s virtual festival! So imagine a crisp fall weekend spent listening to stories of adventure and excitement...a place where memories and magic are captured and spun into tales that make you laugh and cry. Hear stories that tell of a time that used to be. Glimpse into the past and live the imaginary. Learn more about your parents, your children, yourself. Discover all this and more at the annual Athens Storytelling Festival - hosted online.

Stories will be told through a ticketed Facebook Group, where you will be able to view specially-made storytelling videos from this year’s tellers. We can’t wait to “see” you!

    Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

DUE TO COVID THIS EVENT WILL BE VIRTUAL.

Hear stories that tell of a time that used to be and let your imagination go!  Stories told on the Courthouse Square surrounded by an eclectic mix of shops and restaurants.  October 23-24, 2020.  Admission.

Some of the nation’s most highly acclaimed storytellers will make their way to Athens the third week in October for the city’s annual celebration of storytelling, tall tales, and readings. Now in its tenth year, the Athens Storytelling Festival returns to the Limestone County Courthouse Square in downtown Athens October 23-24, 2020, and along with five award-winning performers, the event features an amateur night for locals to take the stage to unleash their own tall tales, lies and stories.
