Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourist Association Announces New Slate of Officers for 2025–2027
Decatur, Ala. (September 22, 2025) — The Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourist Association (AMLA), the official destination marketing organization for Visit North Alabama, is proud to announce its newly elected slate of officers who will serve the organization for the 2025–2027 term. The officers were officially confirmed during the association’s recent annual meeting and will lead AMLA in its mission to promote and strengthen tourism across North Alabama.
The newly elected officers are:
Chairman of the Board:
Chad Davis, Deputy Director, Alabama State Parks (Lauderdale County)
Chair-Elect:
Teresa White Taylor, Vice President, Culture & Engagement, Yedla Management Company (Madison County)
Secretary:
Jamie Christian, Marketing and Membership Director, Northwest Alabama Economic Development Alliance (Marion County)
Treasurer:
Pammie Jimmar, President/CEO, Athens-Limestone Chamber of Commerce (Limestone County)
Past Chair:
Danielle Gibson, President/CEO, Decatur Morgan County Tourism (Morgan County)
“We are excited to welcome this talented group of tourism leaders to guide AMLA over the next two years,” said Tami Reist, AMLA President/CEO. “Their vision, dedication and expertise will be instrumental in continuing to elevate North Alabama as a must visit destination and in supporting our members and partners throughout the region.”
AMLA is a nonprofit, membership-based organization dedicated to the promotion and development of the $4.9 billion North Alabama travel industry within the 16 northernmost counties of the state. It is supported by 500-plus members consisting of chambers of commerce, Convention & Visitors Bureaus, attractions, campgrounds, festivals, communities, golf courses, restaurants, accommodations and vendors. Counties included within the AMLA region are Blount, Cherokee, Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Etowah, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Morgan and Winston.
The new officers will play a key role in advancing AMLA’s initiatives, including destination marketing and promotion, accessibility efforts, workforce development and enhancing visitor experiences across the association’s 16-county region.
