Guin to Light Up the Night with July 3 Firework Extravaganza
Decatur, Ala. (June 4, 2026) – The City of Guin will celebrate Independence Day weekend with a July 3 Firework Extravaganza, featuring live entertainment, family activities, local vendors and a fireworks finale.
Hosted by the City of Guin, the event will take place on Friday, July 3, 2026, beginning at 6 p.m.
The festivities will kick off with live entertainment from Southern Legends Band at 6 p.m., followed by the Kerry Gilbert Band at 7:30 p.m. on Field One. In addition to live music, families can browse arts and crafts vendors, sample local food offerings and visit the car show on Field Two also beginning at 6 p.m.
The evening will conclude with a dazzling fireworks show at 9 p.m., lighting up the night sky as the community comes together to celebrate America's independence.
The Firework Extravaganza takes place at Guin-Hayden Riley Park, located at 245 County Highway 16 in Guin. Hours are 6 to 10 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket.
