July is Disability Pride Month! North Alabama is proud to be an inclusive destination with a special history. July was selected as Disability Pride Month to honor the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, but here in North Alabama, it is also the month of The Miracle Worker at Ivy Green, Helen Keller's birthplace! Helen Keller was born in Tuscumbia, Alabama, and her birthplace and childhood home are open for daily visits, special events, and two more showings of the 63rd Annual Production of The Miracle Worker on July 19th and 20thCome experience the amazing story of Helen Keller and Anne Sullivan at Ivy Green.
