Get Lost in Fall Fun at the West Blount Corn Maze
 

Decatur, Ala. (June 18, 2026) – Fall traditions come alive as the West Blount Corn Maze welcomes visitors on weekends from October 3 through October 31, 2026, for a month of outdoor adventure and family fun in Warrior, Alabama.

 

Each autumn, visitors make their way to the West Blount Corn Maze to experience one of North Alabama's favorite seasonal attractions. Guests can navigate the three miles of corn maze, enjoy farm-themed activities, take in the beauty of the fall season and create lasting memories with family and friends.

 

West Blount Corn Maze is open for field trips and large groups on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hours for the general public are 4 to 10 p.m. on Fridays, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and 1 to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Market at the Maze features arts and crafts vendors and food trucks and is slated for Oct. 10th and 24th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information on Market at the Maze, visit https://westblountcornmaze.com/market/.

 

Whether visitors are looking for a fun family outing, a school field trip, a church group adventure or a unique way to celebrate the season, the West Blount Corn Maze offers something for all ages. The attraction combines the charm of rural Alabama with interactive experiences that encourage families to unplug, explore and enjoy time together outdoors.

 

General admission tickets are $10.00 each and include a hayride to the corn maze, admission to the corn maze and many other activities. Adventure tickets are $15.00 and include everything within the general admission ticket plus unlimited rides on the barrel train and zip lines and 2 shots on the corn cannon. After unexpectantly losing her husband of 29 years, Karen returned to the Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourist Association (AMLA) in 2023 as the vice president of marketing and communications where she helps guide the organization’s marketing and communications activities to position the North Alabama region as a must-experience destination for leisure travel. She has over 30 years of marketing experience, most recently working as a behind-the-scenes freelance public relations consultant for AMLA and other tourism organizations and festivals in north Alabama and Tennessee. From 1999 to 2004, AMLA employed her as the organization’s marketing representative, introducing her to a lifelong career in the tourism and travel industry. Following the birth of her second child, she transitioned to part-time freelance employment so that she could focus on family life.

 

She was named the Alabama Restaurant & Hospitality Association Tourism Promoter of the Year in 2025. She serves on the board of directors for the Huntsville/Madison County Hospitality Association, is a member of the Decatur/Morgan County Hospitality Association and the Tennessee Valley Chapter of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) and volunteers with the Woody Williams Foundation and Vets Like Us.

 

She holds a B.S. degree in marketing and a MBA from the University of North Alabama and received her TMP – Travel Marketing Professional – certification from the Southeast Tourism Society Marketing College. She and her late husband, Michael, have two children, Keller and Logan.
