AMLA’s Legislative Prayer Breakfast is Governor Bentley’s First Speaking Engagement since Inauguration Print E-mail

Decatur, AL – Governor Robert Bentley made his first public appearance since the Inauguration at Alabama Mountain Lakes Tourist Association’s 2nd Annual North Alabama Legislative Prayer Breakfast this morning in Decatur. The annual event was created in order for AMLA to offer blessings and support as the new legislative session begins to the incumbents and new members to the Alabama House of Representatives and Alabama Senators who make up the North Alabama delegation.

Governor Bentley thanked AMLA for it’s hard work in promoting tourism for the 16 North Alabama counties. The counties making up the North Alabama region are: Blount, Colbert, Cherokee, Cullman, DeKalb, Etowah, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Morgan, and Winston.
