Decatur, Ala. – The holiday spirit fills the town of Arab beginning November 26 when the Arab Historic Village transforms its historical setting into a snowy holiday wonderland for a new and festive event – Santa in the Park. Children will be able to visit with Santa and have a photo made with him, decorate a cookie and make an ornament in Santa’s Toy Shop, and climb aboard Santa’s “magic” sleigh. Stories will also be told at Santa’s General Store and the country church will feature local musicians and carolers performing traditional holiday music.
